Ghias,

maybe they just mean that "you can not use match protocol command in
class-map to select traffic". Example: you can match http traffic with acl
or with match protocol command. With task formulation "don't use ip cef"
maybe they just want to force you to use acl.

hi group,

if the task says to police certain traffic with the help of class-map, and
it is said "DONT USE IP-CEF"...does that means to turn off ip cef on that
router?

in my understanding ip-cef only comes into play in QoS when we use NBAR.

can someone pls explain that where else ip cef is used in MQC.

TiA
Ghias.
