Hi Jerry,
for my preparation I used an old copy of the ipexpert lab (2005)
that I got from a friend and a new copy (v3) of IEWB.
I cannot comment on
vRacks, since I didn't have a need to rent, but I can surely comment on the
Workbooks.
Both Workbooks are excellent, the order I tried them out was IE
first and IEWB later and I wish now I've done the opposite.
IEWB is a good
teaching material, but IE really challenges you...if I know how to
redistribute between protocols in all possible scenarios, I own it to IE, no
doubt about it.

Sure, the book I had was still using ATM, ISIS and ISDN
(which btw I don't think the new version has), but I replaced them with
another frame relay cloud, another OSPF domain and a PPP point to point link
and I was ready to go.

So, since I don't think that the version you have
could be any worse than the one I used in term of being outdated I really
suggest you to take another look at that material, because it has been of a
great value to me.

Sabrina

Subject: Proctor lab and ipexpert

Hi
there :
I selected Proctor Labs as my provider for online vRack access. I
paid for vRack Timeslots, CCIE R&S Lab preparation Workbook and CCIE R&S
Proctor Guide . It looks like they are out of date. No related R&S standard
topology, lab scenarios and lack of addendum to lab sessions. Any comments
please ?

Jerzy
