Ryan, thanks for your reply, do you happen to have the complete .net needed
by dynagen for the IEWB?
Thanks
Victor.-

I've been able to simulate all the labs I've tried so far...you have to
create two routers to act like a RSM, and you have to manually configure the
ports/trunks etc. Then you just create (simulate) the SVI's on the RSM
(router) as subinterfaces. It works pretty well, but you don't get any of
the bridging practice with pagp etc, so you will need to find some switches
some where to play with...
[[ETHSW S1]]
1 = access 100 # R1 F0/0 SW1 port 1 - Layer 3 interface on Switch
2 = access 256 # R2 F0/0 SW1 port 2
3 = access 32 # R3 F0/0 SW1 port 3
4 = access 3 # R3 F2/0 SW2 port 3
5 = access 43 # R4 F0/0 SW1 port 4
6 = access 4 # R4 F2/0 SW2 port 4
7 = access 256 # R5 F0/0 SW1 port 5
8 = access 5 # R5 F2/0 SW2 port 5
9 = access 256 # R6 F0/0 SW1 port 6
10 = access 1 # R6 F2/0 SW2 port 6 - not in use in this lab
17 = dot1q 1 # SW1 - switchports 13/14
port-channel
18 = dot1q 1 # SW2 - switchports 13/14
port-channel
22 = access 1 # BB1 - not in use in this lab
23 = access 32 # BB2-FRS SW2 port 24
24 = access 43 # BB3 SW1 port 24

Hi Guys sorry to bring up this old topic, but I wish to know if there is any
other Simulator but for the 3560 Catalyst.
Other question that I have, can I create a complete topology using this 7200
Simulator. - For example can I configure a complete lab like IE Lab 1 Ver 2
to say something??
I know that it would not be as perfect as to having a complete rack with
cool 3600 Series or 3800 Series Router and a couple of 3560 Switches, but
since the rack that I've been using is going to be delivered back to the
person who lent it to me, something is better than nothing.
Any comments are appreciated!
Thanks in advance
Victor.-

This is not an IOS emulator this more like IOS 'virtualization'
software. The software actually runs the 7200 IOS image of your choice.

The only problem I've seen when testing this software is high CPU
utilization but I heard that the new version of the software doesn't
have this issue.

I never used it. And I am not sure you will get full functionality like
a
LIVE Router while practicing so please get LIVE Devices while practicing
to
get the actual behaviour of the protocols and IOS features as the case
may
be.
