If there is transparent mode on switch and you have to have traffic flow
between the trunks, you need it on both switches. If there aren't any
access ports (or SVI's) on the switch, generally the rule would be to
exclude the vlan.
However, the questions for the lab (at least the R&S) will usually be
clear on the point.

I have this question if you can clear my mind
In lab exam when we configure vlans they get created on both switches
(vtp
server, client, transparent node).Are we supposed to create all vlans on
both switches or not
I know some will say I am reading into question too much but I have
failed
