        Have you ever seen or heard of anyone telneting to a specific
VTY port by specifying the TTY number + 2000 like you did below?

On R3.... I am trying to telnet to the first vty port (or any of them).
This is the response:

% Connection refused by remote host
R3#
However, telnetting in to the unit without selecting the port works
fine.  Any thoughts?
