My turn to write this email.
I passed in San Jose 9/25/06.
It was interesting, because we got the exam, I started diagramming and
planning and taking notes. I noticed an IP addressing discepancy on the
Frame Connections, and figured it was part of troubleshooting. I went on to
check and found that all of the IP addressing was different, which I figured
was a little much. I went to ask the proctors about it (who were absolutely
terrific) and discovered that the group of R&S candidates had been given the
wrong exam. We started a little over an hour late on the new exam.
Just a little note to anyone heading to take the lab, verify your initial
configs. This situation could have certainly been unnerving to people.
I want to thank everyone on the list who has provided valuable contributions
to the list, as well as my study partner, the lab proctors, and Internetwork
Expert and their Mock Lab scenario.
My single snippet of advice for those attempting the lab is have a good
study partner, as I think it was the biggest help to me out of all.
Now back to life for awhile and the piled up housework, and then on to the
Security Lab.
