If you look at the equipment list, it says nothing about the 3550's being
removed or expired by date XXXX?

I specifically asked the Procotor, and he said there will be both set of
switches?
I can only pass on what he said??????

The announcement by the CCIE team specifically states "replacing".

I quote:

"Effective November 13, 2006, CCIE Routing and Switching labs will begin
replacing the Catalyst 3550 by introducing the Cisco Catalyst 3560
Series enterprise-class switches."

I can imagine a transition period where both 3550 and 3560 switches
reside in the same rack, however I must assume we are tested on either
ONE pair of switches.

The only clarification can be made by the CCIE team. They can be reached
at ccie@cisco.com.
