switchport mode trunk

Hi,

sometimes the desired portconfig for a trunk is "it should never become
an access port". Because
the port is normaly in " switchport mode dynamic desirable"

Then i think it's ok to configuere "switchport mode trunk". But besides
this, are there other
reasons to configure "switchport mode trunk"?

As you can see the trunk is operational.
