Well... From a switches perspective, you could use a bizzare implementation
of a monitor session? Or if you're a layer 3 port, use the commmand in your
subject line. (although I'm not sure the switches support this)
Or if you're a 3560, think about flex links.
But I'm sure there's plenty of documentation to go through that would help
you answer the question there!

Or just the general DocCD for the 3550/3560 if that's the part of the lab

I'd expect there'd be a little more information than that though.
