The latest version also support 3600 routers, hence it can reduce your memory
usage. Try to use with Dynagen 0.5.0 as the interface, it makes your
configuration
so much easier.
The new version supports the --idle-pc value, hence it reallys stop
100% cpu utilization.
For a guideline, you need a CPU of 2-3Ghz and 2-3 GB of ram for good
performance.
1 cisco 7200 consume - 160MB (Though the IOS required 256M)
6 routers + 3 BB routers = 1.5G of RAM!
It also support FrameRelay virtual switch and ethernet switch with
dot1q support as well.
I run on Linux fedora which so far ok.
