Hi Sabrina
I always think of T1 speed as 1536k + control, which would add up to
1544, but the speed itself is 1536k wherever you apply it to.
Hope this helps

Subject: Q. T1 = 1536k or 1544k? on serial interfaces
Hi,
what T1 corresponds to on a Serial connection?
I'm aware that for an ISDN PRI there are 24 channel at 64k, so T1 =
1536k, but what about a regular serial interface?
Sabrina
