It's quite the variety of equipment! According to the blueprint now:
* MCS 7835 Call Manager/CRS Servers
* MCS 7835 Unity Server
* Catalyst 6503
* 3725 Routers (WAN, Gatekeeper, Gateway, PSTN Emulation)
* Cisco Unity Express
* 2651XM H.323 Gateway
* VG248 Analog Phone Gateway
* ATA186 Analog Telephone Adapters
* Catalyst 3550 with inline power
* IP Phones
* Analog Phones
* FAX
MCS7825's will work just as well (not as fast, but it's a lab!). Or many
people use a single server with good processing power and VMWare to house
multiple server images on a single box. But you'll still need multiple
routers and modules there. And the 6500 switch with 6608 blade is one of
the pricier pieces!
You may also take the approach to concentrate on the smaller pieces and
servers, but then rent some rack time someplace in order to fill in the
blanks with the expensive pieces instead of spending lots of money! There
are always choices!
