I'm not sure if the timer is configurable but there is a 3
minute "expires" timer in the multicast routing table after which it
will flush out inactive sources. In conjunction with the MSDP SA Cache
expiration timer inactive sources will eventually time out. When you
say "switch to other source" do you mean have the IGMP end client
generate a new IGMPv3 source specific join message if a current source
expires?
