Gents,

If you were in the lab ,

and you were asked to split the multicast address range in two and assign
each half to a different group.

Would you include all the system ip's . i.e 224.0.0.0 - 224.0.0.255 and the
admin local address's 239.0.0.0 - 239.255.255.255.

I have been thinking about this and I am not sure .

I think unless it said , I would do the lot ?

I am looking for other people's opinion's

Many thanks in advance

Stephen Skinner
