Again semantics difficulties, obviously i need an advice how to read and
understand the tasks. Following situation R3-------FR-SW--------R4, the
task is to configure connection between R3 and R4 using physical
interface on R3 and p2p subinterface on R4. R3 has ip address on the
interface from the initial config, R4 is left without ip address. My
solution was with PPPoFR where the Virtual Template on R3 is unnumbered
to the physical interface. I looked fine until OSPF came into action
because ot the unnumbered interface and adjacancie fails. At last I
looked at the solution and... again I was surprised - they have removed
the ip address from the physical and placed directly on the Virtual
Template interface on R3 and from this point all the problems caused by
runnig OSPF over unnumbered interface are gone. My quiestion is whether
such changes from the initial config are prohibited.
