  Dear all,
   
  Can you please mention to me the rule of thumb on how to specify the committed burst ? why the solution choose the number 4000 as Bc?
   
  The task is asking to configure R5 to rate limit the TCP requests to a maximum of 500Kbps
   
  The solution configured the following command under E0/1,
   
  rate-limit output access-group 182 496000 4000 4000 conform-action transmit exceed-action drop
   
  access-list 192 permit tcp any 173.1.5.0 0.0.0.255 eq www syn
