Dear Group,

I am confused with how mandatory I have to make sure that there should be a full reachability between the BGP domain and the IGP domain in the real LAB exam.

Through many labs in the IEWB, sometimes the tasks state to insure about the reachability between BGP and IGP and sometimes not.

For example, LAB 17 did not mention anything about AS 100 should be able to ping AS 254 via AS 200 , there are many other examples.

What if there was no clear statement in the real LAB about insuring the connectivity between those two protocols, should I go a head and start advertising, redistributing or summarizing my IGP to the BGP and make sure that I am able to ping each advertised network via BGP coming from the backbone?

Please advice me in this regard
  Thanks
