Stick a 2811 in the middle as your PSTN (as I said below). Use T1
cross-over cables to connect your routers and you're good to go.
E1 is listed in the lab blueprint so you could see it...that's all I can say
on that.

Can one connect these back-to-back with a T1 cross cable from one router to
another and still get needed functionality and hands on? Or will one need
some type of simulator (emulator) in between both routers just like we did
in the ISDN BRI days?
You mentioned E1, though I saw that in the Voice Lab Equipment & IOS Version
listing on cisco.com, but I had been ignoring it. My take on it has been
that in the USA, they will only test on T1s and that E1 interfaces are
reservef for Europe, UK, etc.
