Hello,
If I want to configure telnet authentication for users should I type which
of 3 variants??:

1. line vty 0 4
login
password
cisco
2. line vty 0 15
login
password
3. line vty 0 1800
login
password

Could all vty lines be used for the telnet access?? Or just one of then??
My routers and switches seems to have more than 1 thousend of vty lines.
What would you say.
I just remember when I studied it 4 years ago the devices had only 4 vty
lines and 15 in the enterprise version of the ios. But now I am a little bit
confused.
What would be the correct solution for the lab??

Any ideas??
