Regarding your comment of using 443 and having your home firewall translate to 22, would that work if you were accessing your rack through a corporate proxy server as well?

In other words, does the proxy server route your SSH traffic merely as if it were https traffic or does the proxy server try to first check that it is valid https traffic?
