I brought in a brand new (sealed) set of colored pens and the proctor had
no issues with it. This was in San Jose in February.

Jacky,
            You should be able to take in the PEN's no worries. As for the
terminal package I think it does vary from location to location. I have
heard of different software depending on the location.
