According to the Proctors, no. You don't need anything. They usually
provide colored pencils, etc. If you want to bring in your own, make
sure they're in a new, sealed package. They may or may not let you
bring them in. I've heard different things from different people.

I've heard the software is SecureCRT (but not 5.0 with tabs...)

with different colored ink for the lab exam. Is it permitted?
   
  Also, what terminal emulation software is used in the lab exam? Will
