Get focused! There are a number of good lab manuals on the market.
Personally, I use IPExpert, and think it's great. Plus the author is a
member of this board ;).

In any case, the lab manuals will do three things. First, give you a
focal study point. Second, reinforce things you already know. And
third, highlight your weaknesses. The last one is the most important.

Of course, you have to have access to equipment. There are a number of
good rack rental companies out there. Scrounge up whatever you can from
you company, or buy stuff on the net. You WILL NOT PASS without tons of
hours hands-on.
