Nice intro! :)
The bottom line in redistribution is to be as specific as possible so that
nothing sneaks back around and bites you in the ass.
Route tags, route-maps, distribute-lists, whatever makes the most sense to
you is good on that! But playing around with all of them at one point or
another is the best way to get experience.
Perhaps using "debug ip routing" as you are working on redistribution will
let you see what's going on with each change you make.
That will make things more solid in your mind about it all!

Subject: Redistribution
Hi Cisco Group Guru's
My name is Paul and I am a CA 'Cisco Alcoholic'
Please be patient with me on this one, but this is a very sensitive subject
for me!
I am currently struggling with the weird and wonderful world of MUTUAL
REDISTRIBUTION!
I know for all you pro's at redistribution it's a real easy for you because
you have found your niche method but for the me further down in the food
chain I need your help!
I really do want to nail this topic, but the more I do it the more I confuse
myself,
I for some reason cant get to grips with this topic! hence I need your help
Is there any form of material that I could use to clear this up for me! (A
while back there use to be a workbook just for redistribution!)
I know for a fact that should I nail this down I would feel much more
confidant!
Please send all your recommendations and Methods and I will go through them
until I find the winner that explains it to ME in the best way possible,
else any other recommendations is welcome -
Please No nasty comments please as I am already placing myself in enough
pressure! and also don't forget I am asking for help!
Thanks for your Patience and Kindness in Advance!
Best Regards
Cisco Key
