OSPF nssa default-information-originate??

1. What does this "default-information originate" do when I user area nssa
no-summary command???

when on ASBR I user "area 25 nssa no-summary" command all routers in area 25
receive the default IA route to this ASBR. If I add this statement noting
changes. So I have two question.

1. When "default-information-originate" may be needed when using area nssa
no-summary command??

2. Is there some way to advertise the default route to the external ASs??
Routers inside NSSA have the default route to the IA routes but no external
default route?
