Well, now that it's official I will post out my "thank you" and "onward and
beyond" email to the group ;-) My biggest advice to anyone taking the lab is
when you go in the room and sit at your cube, turn the monitor off and just
read your lab exam once or twice. It will help immensely. My first attempt I
was close in the end but I was just banging away at the keyboard.
Thank you's:
Scott Morris: Thanks for answering my questions that were either to the
group or offline. You are a smart smart man, and not just because of all the
letters in your sig file (and vendors!)
Mike O:
Thanks for letting me use your lab, you're next buddy!!!
As far as
training material, I have to give prop's to Unitek. Rahim was my instructor
for my written class and for my lab class. Rahim clearly knows his stuff
inside and out and I can definitely recommend Unitek for your CCIE classroom
stuff.
NLI/CCbootcamp: I used one of their lab books, and most of their technology
focused labs. The IPV6 book was the most helpful and helped me get a full
understanding (its like 800 pages so it should :-) ) I'm also glad that I
found group study. I have only bee on for a few months but seeing questions
and answers from the guru's helped quite a bit.
What's next? Who knows. I'm going to enjoy my 15 minutes of fame and go get
on a plane back to philly. I had a fianci when this all started.. hopefully
I still do.. hahahaa.... Thank goodness I made it over the hump on my second
attempt!!!
Jason
