Hey Mike,
I've been a victim of the lab a couple of times (first time I took it I
didn't know what I was doing, second time I really thought I did well like
you).
Obviously this email is going to be a bit late, but next time (which
hopefully you'll pass and it won't matter, but still ...) try to remember
the total points in all the sections. That sounds tough, but when you've
been staring at it for 8 hours it's not that hard to remember. When you
leave the lab, have a notebook sitting in the car and right down those
points for the sections. When you get your score report the with the %, you
will be able to gage how many points you got in each section, and have a
rough idea of your score.
The problem with this is my score report didn't factor in any
troubleshooting or the frame connection, so I had to gestimate on those. I
figured the second time I made anywhere from a 68-77 using this method.
There won't be a way to know 100% for sure.
And just remember, there are others in the same boat with you, hence the
group therapy that goes on here sometimes. We're going to get there, just
gotta keep chugging along ...
