Brian,
Thanks for your reply but my question is for group 225.0.0.0/8 for which
R3 is RP why there is no mapping , is there any problem with access list.
If I remove this access list from R5 , R3 start sending annoucement for
group 225.0.0.0/8. This is IE VOL2 lab 3 multicast scenario.
Task says R3 should announce itself RP for 225.0.0.0/8 group and rest of
multicast group RP is R5.
My access list config on R3 and R5
R3#show access-lists
Standard IP access list 61
10 permit 225.0.0.0, wildcard bits 0.255.255.255
R5#show access-lists
Standard IP access list 61
10 deny 225.0.0.0, wildcard bits 0.255.255.255
20 permit 224.0.0.0, wildcard bits 15.255.255.255
Is there any problem with access list ?
Thanks
