Hi,
I was trying to configure dhcp server on a router. Everything is working
fine. But one clarification.

Router R1 has leased ip address to another router interface with mac address
aabb.cc00.ef00.
But when I check the dhcp lease in my server its showing this outeput.

R1#sh ip dhcp binding
Bindings from all pools not associated with VRF:
IP address Client-I 302f.30
R1#D/ Lease expiration Type
                    Hardware address/
                    User name
10.4.17.2 0063.6973.636f.2d61. Aug 01 2006 11:25 AM
Automatic
                    6162.622e.6363.3030.
                    2e65.6630.302d.4574.
I've 3 questions.
1. 0063.6973.636f.2d61 this doesn't seem to be in the mac address format
which is 48 bits.
2. 0063.6973.636f.2d61 this is not the mac address of the interface for
which the lease has happened.
3. What is 6162.622e.6363.3030. and 2e65.6630.302d.4574
Regards,
eldho.
