Hello I have a question about Pix configuration in trinetnt workbook Lab
number 5.
r2-pix-r1. Router r2 is connected to outside interface of pix and router r1
is connected to the inside interface of pix. I configure rip on r2 and r1.
Also configure rip on pix by the commands: rip passive outside
and rip inside passive. pix does receive the routes from r1 which is on
inside interface but doesn't receive the routes from r2. What could be the
problem in?? What should I do to solve this problem??
2. the easiest question... What should be done to permit router r1 ping
router r2??
I configured access-list to permit icmp on outside interface. Should Nat
also be in any case configured??? Even when I configured nat translation
just this routers can't ping each other pix probably doesn't permit it.
Thanks to everyone for help.
