Hello,

I was using Ethereal to have a look at some traffic and used SPAN to monitor a specific port.

I experienced some strange behaviour (far too little traffic) and played around a bit.

Eventually I de-configured "spanning-tree portfast" from the source interface, and all my problems went away. ie I was getting all the traffic I was looking for.

Is there a known issue with SPAN & Portfast, or does anyone care to comment what this could be ?
