Hi group :-)
In my internett edge i have two routers (one to each provider) on the inside
of this I have two
catalyst 2960. On the inside of this I have two pix.. On the inside of pix I
have two 3750.
I am going to do policing on my internet and lan to lan trafikk going trough
this edge net..
Where is the best place to enable policing on the traffic. Since in cisco
routers this happens in sw,
would it bebetter to do this on my edge switchces since it does this in the
hw? I am however doing
my bandwith and priority reservation on my edge routers.
Another Q, in my core on the inside of pix I have Gigabith bandwith. Would
it not be a good idea to
shape traffic outbound trough the pix on the two 3750 switches? Since this
is where the bandwith goes
from gigabith to fastethernet?..
Any advicec on this scenario.
