Hi All,
A question that seems to cause alot of confusion and i have researched with
a conclusive answer.
If asked to configure a be in either policing or shaping of 100 bytes do you
configure 100 or do u have to take the bc into considertion. IE if burst is
50 bytes and you are asked to configure a be of 100 bytes do you use the
value 50 or 100?
Also if asked asked to configure a be of 32 ms of traffic again can you just
calculate the byte amount of this rate or must bc be taken into
consideration, ie bc + be in 1 interval is 32ms of traffic or does it mean
be is 32ms of traffic regardless of what bc is?
I know it depends on how exactly the question is asked its just whenevr i am
asked to configure a be or burst max value i am unsure if i should take the
bc value into consideration or not.
Thanks.
Nick.
