Hi group,
Just to share something from a live network scenario that could be useful in your studies.
The requirement was to police p2p traffic on an ISP link during certain hours of the day.
I used time-based ACLs with policing which worked fine. When the ACL was active the traffic was policed. When inactive the traffic got through ok as the traffic was no longer classified and hence hitting the default-queue.
If anybody knows of another way of implementing QoS based on time of day I would be interested to find out.
Rgds
Elias
