Interpretation Question here:

The task:

"Redistribute between EIGRP and OSPF on R3 and R5"

"Routes with an even numbered first octet should be redistributed into OSPF
as E1; Odd routes should appear as E2 with a metric of 100."

Ok.no worries with that.

My solution was to only pass the even routes through R3 and therefore only
pass the odd routes though R5, both marked with the appropriate E1/2 type.
No problems, I get the desired results, a little on the shady side but
results nonetheless. However the solution guide redistributes both even
and odd routes on both routers ( and of course do some additional trickery
to prevent loops ).

In your guy's opinion, would points be granted? In a situation like this,
should one assume to mutually redistribute 100% of the routes on both
routers?
