There is nothing like 'one size fit all configuration'. The first question,
you need to answer is, what do I want to achieve?

The perfect answer to your question is 'It depends.." Depending on the
scenario, task and question; the solution you configured below, can be
correct and you will get the point for it; in another case the proctor might
look at it and say, well it contain too many unnecessary statements that
might interfere with how he/she really want that port to function and you
might be deny the points; and in many many other scenario and situation,
that will be the wrong solution and answer.
