Oliver,

The only thing that might be same will be the level of difficulty and with
the addition of the new features and IPv6 gaining more and more ground by
the day; the term 'difficulty' is relative. Some people will find it more
'easier' than their past attempts, while others will fine it more 'harder';
so your mileage will vary. Those are the general comments people make after
successive attempts and I have not heard anyone say, my 1st or 2nd attempt
was as easy or difficult as the 3rd or 4th attempts. The general comments is
always this was 'easier' or 'harder' than the last one.

If the exams were the same all months/years round, then the pass rate would
have gone up and anybody that takes such an exam three to four times and
still fail, will not be qualify to even configure a router. But today, the
average pass rate of 4 attempts is generally acceptable. This then means
that with each attempts, you will meet new challanges, new questions, new
topologies, new designs, etc.

But, I can bet that you will still meet 6 routers and 2 switches, just like
in your 2004 & 2005 attempts.

That said, counting on the exam or anticipating/expecting the exam to be the
same as one's previous attempts, might not be a wise preparation strategy or
a good way to invest $1250.00 in this hash economy. It only shows that the
goal is to pass the exam and not really an attemp to be an expert on the
technology and Cisco knows better than to allow that to happen.
