Not troubled by redistribution any more

Thanks LH and Martin Duggan's book.

Now I learned that not only OSPF can use summary-address to generate any routes almost willingly for further redistribution, but also the neighboring EIGRP or RIP processes can do that too. Then I can use "redistribute route-map". I have so many options on my side. There shouldn't be a problem.

I used to be trapped in thinking that running summary-address on the other protocol (eigrp or rip) while OSPF is a neighbor or is in the same router is "dangerous". No more fear.

Just like the OSPF NBMA, we have "broadcast", "neighbor" and "ip ospf network" many options. There is hardly any lab can trouble us on that topic. The more danger the better. Same thing here.

3 hours left today before entering last 6 days. How many RIP-OSPF neighboring and summarizing on the RIP side then doing redistribution can I practice ? 3 hours give me 3 points ? 6 days give me another 30 points ? I can go from 40% to becoming a CCIE. I need those 30 points.
