But sometimes you need it to be external route...u can usually tell..maybe not
on that task but a later task. So look ahead. You might get a routing table
output in a task and it has that loopback(probably has nothing to do with that
task but a clue for the other). Take it from there...Duncan makes a very good
point. Only allow what you want. Why would you allow a whole subnet with a
network statement. I have seen people doing practice labs using network
0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 a X
That will land you right in it.

While, sadly, this may be a workbook question and, even worse, suggestive of
a
live lab problem, it's an insane thing to do. With one special-case
exception,
I've found it wise -- as have many people in large, complex networks --
ALWAYS
to use network with a mask of 0.0.0.0.

The more you allow wide-scope OSPF masks, automatic redistribitution, etc.,
the
more you expose yourself to questionable information leaking into routing
protocols, and the more difficult you make troubleshooting.
