I think that adjusting metric/AD, as well as adding static mroutes are the
ways
to solve RPF problem and/or changing asssert/DF winner (dr-priority would
help also
in latter case).
To combat OLIST, you have basically two ways: Create new interface or use
pim nbma-mode
with pim-sparse mode. Note, that pim-nbma relies on join messages to track
"active"
participants.
The biggest problem with BiDir over NBMA (H&S) I faced is DF election, in
case one of your
spokes have the best metric to RP :)
