Hi Guys,
Just back from Sydney and the R&S Exam there. I was pretty happy with the exam and managed to complete all the sections however I still failed. I stayed at the SEBEL Apartments, excellent location cost $235.00. Next time I'll find somewhere cheaper near a train station as CISCO is right next to a train station.
My weekness was route manipulation with the IGP protocols. Other than that I think I have come along way and will attempt the exam again but not for some time as a need a break from the study. The exam has allot of small unrelated components, I must admit this stressed me during the exam. I think next time I'll be more relaxed knowing more what to expect.
To study for the exam I have been using both the IP Expert and Internet Expert workbooks and must say the Internet Expert one covers the exam topics better than the IP Expert books. I also spent the last few weeks learning how to use CCO without the search engine and that certainly came in handy.
I found Group Study very informative as well and now I know what to expect in the exam I think I'll get more out of it. I usually just monitor the group and rarely post, and now I have a record of thousands of requests I can usually find a subject I need to know.
Any keep up the good work
Jeff
