Hi,

I'm having a real problem finding any good literature on directed broadcasts
and how they are treated

What I would like to do is send one broadcast stream to address
172.16.10.255

If I had devices on subnets:

172.16.10.0/28

172.16.10.16/28

172.16.10.32/28

172.16.10.48/28

Would they receive the stream provided I enabled 'ip directed-broadcast' on
the interface?

I know ideally this is a multicast operation but that is not an option due
to firewalls.
