Not trying to start a thread on this lame topic again,
But I did find something peculiar...

As the site reads "REA CCIE LAB"
Not sure what REA stands for?
A new acronym?
It MUST be the real thing 'cause now I have to ask the proctor what REA stands
for!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As far as cheating, I doubt the percentage of those who truly "cheat"
registers on the charts.
Less rampant, regardless of how hard one may try.
I would say "slothful" is a more accurate description.
I suppose it is possible that one could cheat such an exam;
There are people out there who can memorize volumes of encyclopedias.
I expect they could certainly recall the content presented to them within 8
hours.
If not word for word, then pretty darn close to it.
So one gets an exam, the starts align, luck is on their side, they get the
same exam they (bought|stole|borrowed), they pass, and it helps them get a
job. At the end of the day you cannot cheat yourself; hence you proceed to
fall on your face when the game is on.
I know a few brilliant people who would never cheat anything.
They know themselves and their jobs well.
Some have certs, some do not.
I know others who (bought|stole|borrowed) study materials.
Yes, they got some letters to put by their name;
Still they know nothing.
And it shows.
As a fellow engineer (who happens to be a Cisco employee) said recently:
"I know a lot of ignorant CCIE's"
On the other hand - At least this site takes Paypal... :)
Does anyone think this is a big issue ?
I did a google search on CCIE Lab Workbooks and one of the sponsored links
is www.cciecert.net , which seems like a bit of a shady site.
It just got me thinking how many / if any actually get their certification
by using this and if there are more sites like this around. Also, how would
someone get exact copies of the labs? It just doesn't seem very likely.
