since the burst is in bytes, you should use the second one
Simple dimension analysis says that dimensions should match on both sides.
byte = (bit/sec)*(byte/bit)*(sec) = byte
(bit/sec)*(byte/(bit*sec)) = byte/(sec^2) != byte
"/" division sign is not that clear in representing such things, just
rewrite it with classic way of fraction representation.
