Akshok -

This would be your interface that has the monitor/sniffer (receiving the
data).

So, on the remote switch...this would be the VLAN that is set up for
remote span. On the local switch, this would be the port that is doing
the monitoring (where the sniffer is connected). HTH,

Subject: what is "ingress" option do in the command monitor session 1
destination interface?

I couldn't get what exactly "ingress" option do with the command
"monitor
session 1 destination interface"? What is difference by giving this
option
or not giving?

Thanks,
