Thinking of alternative ways to do this... The situation basically
is mutually redistributing external EIGRP routes (AD 170) into OSPF
(AD 110) in two places and making sure you don't create routing
loops. The solution recommends tagging the D EX routes as they are
being re-dist into EIGRP and then filtering on the OSPF ASBR's. I'm
curious why on the ASBR's when you go to re-distribute OSPF->EIGRP
you can't just put a "match internal" on the end and do it that way
(note you have no other RP's being re-dist'd into OSPF outside of the
ones you want to block).
Say for instance R3 is re-disting RIP into EIGRP to create your D EX
routes in your EIGRP cloud and then R2 and R4 are mutually re-disting
EIGRP/OSPF. The solution that is recommended is to tag the routes on
R3 and then filter those routes out based upon the tag on R2 and R4
when you re-dist OSPF->EIGRP.
