RMON event trap and snmp enable trap

Hi Group,
 Is the rmon trap controlled by " snmp-server enable traps" or not?
If we need to send the trap for rmon event, do we need to enable the
trap ( snmp-server enable traps) as well as "snmp-server host host-addr
[traps]"?
From the Doc-CD, "This command is disabled by default. Most notification
types are disabled. However, some notification types cannot be
controlled with this command."
