Darby,
I have tried what you did tell me, I deleted the directory and ios
and loaded the IOS again.
I have the following output.

As expected it shows in .bin format. After this I did not delete the OLD
12.1 IOS but gave the boot system command and write memory command. While
reloading it gave me the following error.

I did not delete the old IOS as it will take me 1.5 hrs to reload the IOS
using xmodem. I did it once already. Anything else you can make of this
output. It mentions at the end about a boot environment variable. Any idea
what it points to.
