Go the switch:
1. Ensure you have copied the foloowing file:
c3550-i5q3l2-mz[1].122-25.SEA.bin
no this:
c3550-i5q3l2-mz[1].122-25.SEA
and the the directory looks like this:
c3550-i5q3l2-mz[1].122-25.SEA

Now if you follow where I am going with this, I'd like you to change to the following directory:
cd c3550-i5q3l2-mz[1].122-25.SEA
And one you do so:
If you would type:
ls or dir (whichever you like)
And take note if you have the following file:
c3550-i5q3l2-mz[1].122-25.SEA.bin
located in that directory.
===========================
Now at this point, I expect you have this file and the other .bin IOS file.
If you have both you can safely delete the older file:
c3550-i5q3l2-mz.121-13.EA1a.bin
from the root...
And now reload.
This should give you the newer IOS.

Hi
I did try as requested. Created a directory with the specified name. When i do a normal tftp to flash copy it gives me an error. I have Telnet access as well as console access to the switch. When i try to copy the image i get an error as below
