All,
I have been going through some Microsoft documentation regarding their
best practice in security and I am a little concerned and would
appreciate any comments.
My main concern is that Microsoft suggest that, when there is an ISA
server in place, webservers and mailsweepers, etc., should all sit on
the LAN and NOT on a DMZ.
This goes against all security practices I have ever seen before and
would appreciate some comments, as I would _never_ suggest to anyone
that an internet facing server, be it a mail sweeper, or webserver,
should sit on a LAN.
Best regards,
LH
